Exact replacement. OEM part
We were very pleased how easy it was to walk into ECS and replace the carafe
We had a top piece (the thin wall) of our carafe break off. We did not abuse it, bang it, or drop it. I was merely holding it gently when washing and where my thumb was, it snapped off. Too bad, because now the lid doesn't stay on well, and $50 is a lot to pay for a new carafe that basically still works.
